ABOUT
Makeup for me is more than just a little bit of paint on your face; I see it as a work of art on a real-life canvas. I am eager to push the boundaries of makeup design and application techniques, as well as to learn new technical skills and experiment with novel materials.
As a graduate of Arts University Bournemouth in the UK, with a specialisation in Make-up for Media and Performance, I had the opportunity to design and create makeup for film, theatre, and fashion. My work ranged from beauty makeup to full-scale makeup transformations involving prosthetics, wigs, bald caps, facial postiche, and special effects makeup.
My goal is to further expand my knowledge and proficiency in creating distinctive makeup looks for films, TV shows, special events, and photo shoots. I am looking for new challenges and career opportunities as a qualified, resourceful and creative makeup artist, primarily in the film and television industries.
EXPERIENCE
Hair and Makeup Artist - Arts University Bournemouth, UK - Fashion Show (2024)
Designed and created hair and makeup based on designer clothes. The fashion show was organized to fundraise for the upcoming summer Graduate Fashion Show.
Hair and Makeup assistant - Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre - AUB Productions (2023)
Created makeup, applied wig for one of the lead actresses in the musical 'Masque Macabre' for five consecutive days at Bournemouth Pavilion Theatre. Managed touch-ups on several actors and actresses in between rehearsals and live performances.
Makeup Artist - AUB Collaboration in Bournemouth, UK - Short film (2023)
Designed and created casualty makeup based on the script for the protagonist in the short film 'Songbirds' directed by Dunjasha Althaus film student.
Hair and Makeup Demonstrator - Bobby's Bournemouth (2023) (2
Designed and created a prosthetic makeup transformation. The live demonstration took place in front of an interactive audience at Bobby's department store in Bournemouth.
